Starting with a Nema 3R rated weather proof cabinet. Inside is the famed Schneider XW Pro 6848 inverter touting a low frequency design that is unmatched in running heavy motor loads. There is an Insight Facility inside for managing the inverter and batteries (if added). This cabinet is designed to hold up to 3 of the SunPower M0020 batteries which are also available in the store, the 48v wiring is already in place and ready to plug into batteries once installed.
This is the 19.5kwh version of cabinet that fits up to three of the SunPower M0020 6.5Kwh batteries.
If you want something to support the grid (absorb energy from grid tied solar when there is excess and use energy from the battery when needed to zero out the meter) I would recommend looking at the Schneider BCS as an option. In addition to supporting this functionality with the built-in CT clamps it also has the ability to isolate your house from the grid so the Schneider can operate off-grid as needed.
While the Schneider does not have a solar charge controller built in it does have the ability to AC Couple to existing grid tie inverters, this allows it to pull power from grid tie inverters for charging batteries and automatically slow down/shut off said inverters when the batteries are close to full. Caveat, if you are in a consistent off grid scenario I’d recommend some DC coupled solar panels through an MPPT Solar Charge controller to safely charge the batteries that last 5-10%.
