SunPower SunVault M0020 6.5Kwh 51.2v LiFePo4 Battery NEW

Brand new in box from the SunPower bankruptcy. This is an Ampace battery with possibly some customization to it for Sun Power. Please note that simply hitting the power button on this battery does not turn it on and keep it on. There needs to be specific canbus messages sent as keepalives as well as configuration commands. The battery will turn back off (in about 10 minutes) without keepalives flowing. If you are purchasing a vault + batteries from us we pre-configure the batteries so it’s plug and play. Or you can purchase a canbus keepalive device from us if you are using without a vault.

Up to 16 batteries can be communicating in parallel and be kept alive by a single Bridge.

Here is a PDF for the M0012 battery which is very similar. From a BMS perspective they appear to communicate in the same way though physically they are different since the M0012 appears more complex inside. M0012 and M0020 are not compatible as parallel batteries. Link to file
